Foundation problem on inner stem wall

Karla Strasser
Posted

New to all this but this purchase is actually for a primary residence. There is a foundation issue on one of the inner stem walls.  This was caused from a drainage issue that was addressed only a few years ago, but the damage from years of water is done. I have reached out to an engineer to do a complete inspection.  I read on another discussion that I should steer away from foundation issues that are on inner walls.  Will a few more of you weigh in on this.  It is for my primary residence, that I will live in for most likely the remainder of my life.
