Local Hard Money? Does it matter?
Is there any benefit to using a local hard money lender? If so does anyone have a recommendation in Richmond VA? If not any other recommendations are appreciated!

I think the only time it really matters is if the town is pretty rural. In that case someone who is local may understand the market a bit better but other than that it is all about creating a great relationship with a lending company who can offer you competitive rates and close in a timely manner
(My opinion only)
