Pittsburgh properties- help finding first investment

Roberta B.
Posted

Hi

I am literally brand new to this area. Moved back to Pittsburgh from San Francisco - My family grew up going to Tree of Life and my mother worked there for 10 years. I decided that it’s time to be close to my family.

So, to make income, I want to start buying and flipping houses. I have been looking online to find foreclosures and such, so I can make a nice profit. Been reading many posts and my heads spinning. Would love suggestions on where exactly I can go to find a good investment. Looking to stay in the vicinity of Squirrel Hill/Friendship/Garfield and any other ‘up and coming’ locations (feel free to suggest).

I think it would be best to start small and not have a huge gut renovation. Maybe something I can quickly update with a little bit of time and money.

Any help/advice/suggestions would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Thank you

Roberta
