Appraisal process delayed
I have a home under contract that had the appraisal delayed because the owner was going into foreclosure. My question is does having the home get foreclosed on help me in any way and what can I do, if I can, help her from being foreclosed on and help myself in the process.

“Going into foreclosure” wouldn’t have any effect on delaying an appraisal or your loan approval in any way. It doesn’t affect the owner’s ability to sell in any way. Simply finish the purchase before any foreclosure auction occurs.
