State of the Market - Plymouth County, Massachusetts

The 3rd quarter numbers for Plymouth County, MA are out.  Here's the summary vs Q3 2017:

Mean Sales Price: $385,000  +4.5%

Average Sales Price: $453,957  +3.0%

% of Original Price Rec'd: 97.7%  0% change

# of Homes for Sale: 1,662  -11.7%

Closed Sales: 1,867  -1.7%

Months Supply: 3.2  -12.7%

Days on Market: 47  -11.0%

So prices continue to rise.  Home sales are down slightly, though the supply of homes continuing its downward trend probably accounts for that.

Bottom line - while there's still a shortage of properties in Plymouth County, those that are on the market are selling for more money and in less time.
