Agent fee, and commission too?
Just got a contract from an agent I’m looking to work with. He wants 3% from the seller as well as $425 from me. Is that normal?

“Transaction Fees” have become popular/the norm for a few years now. It is a fee charged by the Broker to the agent for the transaction. Some buyers refuse to pay it, make the agent pay it. I used to waive if the deal was over a certain $ value.
Whether you should pay it depends on the price range you are looking, the value you see in This agent and th relationship you want with them.....they decide who they work the hardest, or at all, for.
