How realtors blackball flat fee listings.

Apparently many real estate firms block flat fee listings from feeding to their customer’s automatic search results. So the properties are only shown if the buyer finds the listing his or herself on realtor.com, zillow, etc or by driving by. How do I know? Because there is a popular website called Nextdoor that allows realtors to buy or sponsor a zipcode. These realtors prompt users to see what RE is for sale in the area by clicking on a tab and scrolling down. The two houses in my neighborhood using traditional brokers are listed. Mine and another flat fee brokers are not. 5 different firms, keller williams of course, but one independent too. There you have it. Cartel.
