Is it appropriate/legal to ask tenants to view the house?
I am eyeing a pre-foreclosure property but I can only see exterior pictures on Zillow. This is currently a rental property so it has tenants in. Is it appropriate/legal to show up and ask them to take some pictures inside so I have a better idea about the condition of the house?

If it meant the difference between determining exactly what you are buying and not, I'd give it a shot.
Inappropriate? Yes. Illegal? No.
It's also not illegal for the tenant to slam the door in your face so I wouldn't expect a warm welcome.....but you never know.
