Hello BP, I am approved to buy, I started looking at homes with my agent, to my surprise, I am not sure I really know what to look for when I am inside these homes, I am reaching out to you all to help me with things I should be looking at, I will also appreciate it if anyone have a list of things to be checking for. Thanks a lot.

@Bola A.,

It all depends on your goals,  because what you are looking for varies person to person.     Assuming it's your own house,  I'd look for the big ticket items and the condition-- how old is the roof/HVAC/electrical/plumbing, as those will be your most costly repairs.   If you have plans to make it a rental, make sure your mortgage is less than the potential rent.

Also, don't forget the 3 most important things-- location, location, location.
