Insurance claims on replacement

I was told today that my rental property had some water seeping through the basement due to torrential rain. The water boilers are suspect right now and may need to be replaced. If I were to replace the boilers and file a claim for the replacements, would there be a record that would indicate that my basement had water damage to future sellers?
