Shared driveway and what to do
Hi BP,
My wife just got her RE license and looking to sell her first home. The issue is the driveway to the home her buy is looking at is shared with the neighbor and he does not like that. Most of the driveway is on the home they are looking to buy, land.
1. How can we check the title or county to see if we can stop them from using the driveway?
2. If it is written in the title that we must share the driveway how and can we change this?
Thank you!
Jeremy

The situation is unlikely to change. Yes, you need to see if there is a recorded easement/agreement and also read the language in the two deeds.....both should be available online.
