I am interested in a property and my lender is not aware of.

If I tell them about it, can they legally send that listing to someone else who is out of or in the area for them to buy? Property in Northern California, lender in Southern California. I want to proceed, but I don't want to hand the deal away.

Sounds like you need to shop around for a different lender.
