We need help! Recently I have sold an investment tri-plex. I have the 1031 in place and ready to roll into something else. My best friend has 10 days remaining to declare his 1031 property.
I have found a property that will benefit us both.
Question 1: can we both 1031 into the same property?
Question 2: if yes, can we keep our cost basis separated?
Question 3: what else am I missing?
