Things to do while saving money for next purchase

Hello BPers,

Firstly, I love BiggerPockets. I have learnt so much in very less time all because of BiggerPockets(Podcasts and Forums).

I have recently closed on a rental property and have used all my savings on my two rental properties that I purchased in the last two months. Both my rentals are buy and holds, currently vacant and in process of finding tenants.

I'm researching what are the things we can do while saving money for the next purchase apart from listening to Brandon Turner :)

Appreciate your inputs.

Thanks!

Networking, build the contacts that can help build your business. Contacts with lenders, already mentioned would be only one example.

Learning your market. Go out and look at 100 deals and evaluate them. Look at all kinds of deals; on site auctions, listings, open houses, wholesalers deals, FSBO, and any other investors deal you can get into. Ask them what the numbers are and get them to tell you about the deal. The better you now your market the faster you can move when a good deal comes along.
