Newbie question on investing

Hello BP Friends, I’m currently finishing my real estate course once finished I’ll take the state test. I’m a highly motivated newbie investor, I would like to network with hopes of finding a mentor in the CT area or any market that is just to get some knowledge on getting started on a fast track process to retirement with multifamily, duplex etc investing. I’m also searching for private and hard money lenders. Please let me know if anyone can help
