Success stories/Advice on investing mid sized LIHTC property

I have been researching investing in a mid sized (up to 74 units) LIHTC multi family property, and wanted to get general insight from financing the deal to cash flow. I am looking to construct it myself with my background in multi-family construction, and want to hear other investors experiences throughout the entire process, and ultimately was it worth it?
