Hubzu vacant lot... is it actually sold?

Brett Doyle
Posted

I am looking to buy a lot next to my house so that my kids can play in the yard. The lot went up for sale 4 days ago on Hubzu and it says the auction ended.

The website says "Auction Ended. If Seller has approved bid terms, contract processing has started. Otherwise new auction period will start shortly." and it offers to let me submit a backup bid.

Today they came by the property and put a Hubzu for sale sign up.

I have heard lots of weird things about Hubzu like schill bidding. Is there anyway to find out if someone actually bought the property or if it will be relisted? I was looking for advice on how to proceed as I would love to buy this for my kids.

Thanks in advance,

Brett
