Selling Real Estate While Traveling for Work

Hi I am new to the real estate world and I am currently unable to start investing as my wife and I are working on paying off some of our student loans. I have been researching real estate for a little over a year now and I am trying to get creative about how I can increase income while continuing to learn about the business so that i can speed up the process.

I am considering getting my real estate license  and selling real estate on the side. My concern is that I have a job that requires me to travel for 2-3 days a week, a couple weeks a month. I am hoping I can connect with someone else that is also doing this to learn what works well and what to avoid.

I am currently in a job that pays well and I cannot afford to leave to dive all in on real estate just yet.

Thanks in advance.
