19th Century Homes

I'm thinking of buying this house, or a house similar to it for when I eventually move back to Michigan.

I've always liked older homes. They have character. What are the biggest pitfalls with this type of home? Of course, you have to check out the foundaton, roof, plumbing, electric..etc. But is there any issues specific to these type of homes.

This house is located in Clinton, MI, which is north of Detroit in Macolm County. I like the school system, size and sense of community there.
