Hubzu highest bidder reserve met not accepted?!
Hi, I just started using the real estate site Hubzu and need advice and hopefully some explanation to how they operate. My situation is that I had set my eyes on this house which is only accessible through Hubzu. The first time it was set for bid I didn’t put anything in since I was still trying to get used to the website. The bid ended and went to pending for 445k. 3 months later it came back on Hubzu. I placed the highest bid for 450k this time and without notification the House was placed back on bid 2 days later! Note that the reserve price was around 400k. The third round I placed a bid for 437k and once again I was the highest bidder and once again they placed it back on market the next day. No notifications at all! Now the House is back on Hubzu and I am thoroughly confused and frankly quite annoyed. Any ideas?
