Funding for a Canadian Investment Property - I am a US Citizen

Hi All,

I am looking to buy a rental property in Canada but I am having a hard time finding any lenders who work across the border. I know I could contact a Canadian Bank, but would rather look for private funding as opposed to a conventional mortgage loan. 

Does anyone have any advice on who I could go to for a deal ?
