Electronic vs. paper offers for bank-owned
I have an agent that I like but he does not do electronic contracts. This is wildly frustrating and inconvenient, and I think it puts me at a competitive disadvantage - let alone that it wastes a lot of my time.
I am making an offer on a bank-owned property and asked him about doing an electronic contract. He says that banks prefer to see original signatures.
Is this true? It sounds like BS to me. In most situations these days legal documents don't need to be original signatures. I feel like this is just his excuse for not having e-contracts.
Cheers,
Dave
