New investor in Hudson County.
Hello all my name is Justin. I'm a new coming investor to Hudson County, and my strategy of choice is the BRR method for duplexes, triplexes, and fourplexes.
I'm coming back from Active Duty Navy and i intend to sell my condo in Hawaii. I should walk away from that sale with about 90k conservatively after all my taxes.
i intend to get an FHA loan to put a 3% down payment on a triplex, one unit of which would be rented to my Father, his wife and, my grandfather; as well as my uncle, aunt, and cousin. I am specifically interested in buying a C property in a B area. (Which blocks would be considered B areas?)
Once my units are at fully occupied, I want to make a move to buy a single family property that's been in my cousin's family for 18 years and convert it to a duplex.
I feel like long term the Hudson County area properties will continue to appreciate as demand gets pushed here from an increasingly expensive New York market.
Are there any experienced real estate investor's with their brokerage license that can sit down with me discuss my options moving forward.
Also any one got a reliable contractor that is FHA approved?
