Counteroffer Question regarding credit during closing
What does it mean when a counteroffer says this from the listing agent: "Buyer shall be credited $10k for escrow fees and other fees."
Does it mean $10k reduction in purchase price? Or does it mean any additional fees through closing would be paid by the Seller? Should I view this as reducing my overall equity needed for down payment?
Thanks!!
