Going to be out of job soon, moving, and looking to buy a duplex

I am in the military and soon I will be leaving. I have an offer from a family member to buy one of three of their duplexes when we move back to Tulsa, OK. The properties need exterior work. really good location for us.

The financing is the only issue. I will just be starting a new job and wouldn't have "work history" to back up to get a loan.
What would be an option for financing.
would the banks be willing to lend.
what would you do in the situation.
