Hi All - I have been a local real estate investor for several years in the NY market but  I am now interested in buying properties out of state. Does anyone have recommendations on good markets around the county?  it sounds like Memphis is pretty good for single families but i didnt really see any good multis....any input would be greatly appreciated. THanks!

@Gregory Massi

Congrats on making the jump!  There are many good markets across the United States BUT it really depends on what your goals are.  I would speak to an out of state investor here in NY more in depth and purchase your first investment property using that person's (or people's) resources this way you just don't go into an area blindly.
