Buying property that's on a 1/2 city lot?

Hi All!

I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions on buying a single-family home on a 1/2 city lot- any potential pitfalls in this? The property has been recently updated and cashflows at 16%...but I don't know anything about this 1/2 city lot concept. Thanks for any help you can offer!
