Can the heir to reverse mortgage buy house owner still residing
I am the heir to my fathers home. He has a reverse morgage and is still living in the home. Can I buy the house from the company he did the reverse mortgage through? If so, will I owe the total worth of the house or what? He had about 100,000 of equity in it and the value is around 300,000. He did this 2 years ago. Would I own the whole 300,000? I’m so new to all of this and my very confused! Thank you in advance!
