Financing on a FRANKENSTEIN mfg home
I am looking at a property that initially just had a 1978 mfg home on it. The owner (a brick mason) added a two story addition next to it and completely bricked the exterior of the mfg home and addition into one home. (AKA the brick palace.) L&I was not involved in the work. The current listing is cash only or owner financing only so it is not financeable. Can you get the title eliminated off the mfg home so the property is considered a single family home and financeable if we purchased it as a flip? I think you can do that but just trying to navigate the process.
