Private Money Finder's Fee - How Much for Making the Connection?

Hey BP Land!!!

So I'm actively attending all the REI clubs I can while I startup my wholesaling business, and one thing I keep hearing is that people need private money to fund their projects.

Now I have family and friends who have extra cash; and they would love a safe return on their liquid assets that will destroy any CD will offer.  I also know several reputable, proven investors who I know would offer fair, safe returns on private money.

My question:  What kind of finder's fee should one collect when making this connection?  Should the middle-person get paid by the investor?  Lender?  Both??

Please let me know; and cheers!
