1st House Flip Under contract
I have my first house flip under contract- It's a condominium. It was only on the market (1) day and offer in 7k over asking price. However, the home inspector found mold in the attic and it doesn't appear to be "active" mold as it looks like it was resolved a few years prior when they repaired the roof. I'm not apposed to spending the money to have mold remediation, but I don't believe that it needs to be done. The home inspector also owns a mold remediation company- isn't that a conflict of interest? Any recommendations on steps to proceed? I have about a 18k profit margin. Second opinion on mold with another inspection company? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
