Looking for advice to buying an apartment *Investment opportunity*

While I know this is my first post.. I am mainly a lurker, I like to get all information I can.

Here is the scenario, I have an opportunity to buy an apartment complex for 18,000 dollars and it needs to be fixed up, etc.. I don't have any of this money to invest in nor am I getting it anytime soon. I had seen an offer where someone will loan you the money upfront if you put a 500 dollar processing fee up. It seemed legit and I never got the money.

I don't have the best of credit. i thought about starting a business entity in order to make this happen.

Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas or anything creative to say in regards to this.

I know it can be done but I just don't know the direction I need to be pointed in.

Thanks,
Jt

Get a job that allows you to save money and try to repair your credit. Skip on the deals until you have done that.

Also, if you fall for one of those scams that takes your money you are not cut out of this business or need to learn a lot quickly. Real estate is full of sharks and you will loose every time.
