Cheap market for AirBnb rental

I'm looking to purchase a vacation rental property and was wondering if anyone could suggest cheaper yet profitable markets for this type of venture (Memphis? Atlanta? Austin? Something less obvious, etc.). I'm currently running a very successful airbnb setup here in california but can't afford a second property nearby, hence looking at other markets.

I see that airdna has relevant information but it's pretty pricey to access. If there's a cheaper service available I'd also be interested to know about it. Thanks!

Do you think you can run this being out of state?  How often do you think you will have to visit it?
