Does anyone know if Realtors are prohibited from purchasing HUD properties ? A realtor in CT conveyed to me that you can not purchase HUD properties if you are a licensed agent. I have a realtor friend who has purchased many and says that is not true.

Absolutely not true as I have purchased hundreds

However, if you are a agent that works for a HUD listing broker, you or your immediate family are ineligible to purchase
