Is a vacant lot worth more if it's multi family Vs. single family
Could the listing agent be wrong? I am looking at a listing for a single family vacant lot, but it is in the middle of a subdivision full of nothing but duplex's. I checked the zoning and it is zoned the same as all the other duplex's around it. The lot is the same size as the other lot's on the street. The price is fair for a single family lot in the same zip code. Is the lot more valuable if it is multifamily Vs. single family ? Or at the end of the day it's still just a vacant lot worth about the same?
