Good day everyone. I was curious to know if anyone was investing in Detroit. Definitely interested in the market and curious to know if anyone is investing there or has boots on the ground. Looking to invest beyond my state of MA. Looking to bounce ideas with others regarding the market or even see what others are currently doing. Thank you.

@Account Closed. Thanks! Detroit has many unique neighborhoods and obviously some are much better than others. The Downtown Detroit market has really taken off with the help of Dan Gilbert and a few others who are revitalizing the urban core. The hot neighborhoods you will hear about in the city are Indian Village, and West Village which are just east of downtown. The Corktown neighborhood, which is just west of downtown has skyrocketed prices and rents. There are neighborhoods on the Westside of the city named Rosedale Park and Grandmont ( where i was raised ) that have great homes. The University District, Green Acres and Palmer Woods are all bordering the northern suburbs ( everyone has heard of 8 Mile ).. To make a long story short, there are great neighborhoods and many I have not mentioned that are also worth a look. We also have our fair share of less than desirable areas and it is very helpful to have someone you know and trust helping you here in Detroit ( There are a ton of great people who live and invest here ) I hope that gives you a little glimpse. Plenty of brick duplexes in many areas of the city. There are single family options, you name it, we have it. We have properties on the Eastside of Detroit.
