Good areas to buy rental prop. around Sacramento?
Hello experts - I am a newbie interested in exploring a rental prop./investment purchase around Sacramento area. I live in the SF Bay Area which is super-expensive and out of my investment budget (upto $350K SFH purchase price). I was advised that it is better to look for first investments within reasonably travel-able areas, so looking at Sac. Explored Tracy, but not certain of job growth prospects and the last housing crisis had a big impact there, so a bit careful of that area.
Being a newbie out of town, might need to engage prop. mgmt services. What areas would you suggest as good options for SFH rentals? I was looking at Citrus Heights, Folsom, Oak Park? Thoughts?
