Do Investors See Any Value In Having A Real Estate License?

Hi All

This question is for experienced investors... I'm interested in rental properties / flipping -- and I'm wondering if it makes sense to take a real estate course(s) -- just to obtain some knowledge. Obviously nothing is more valuable than actually going through the process of finding and purchasing a property -- but I was curious as to whether others saw any value in taking some courses or getting a license.

Thoughts...?

Mike.

Are you motivated enough to learn it on your own?

Everything that you need to learn is already available online and I'm sure there is someone teaching it on youtube.

But... do you have discipline to go and do that, or is it worth the fee to just go and learn it all in one weekend.

Personally. I chose to take the course instead to get some knowledge of how to analyze deals.
