Self-Directed IRA: Purchasing International Real Estate

Does anyone have experience using a Self-Directed IRA to purchase real estate rentals internationally? I'm looking for a good Self-Directed IRA Custodian in the US that can do this as well. I've heard good things about IRA Services Trust Company and Quest (not sure if Quest allows international Real Estate though). Many Thanks
