Want to participate more in RE world, but how?
.
I currently own one property and it's passively managed. I honestly can't see myself being an active manager; its simply not in my personality.
Unfortunately, my career choice isn't yielding the cash necessary to build a true "empire". I'm also more risk averse than when I was younger, so my plan is to simply pay off the mortgage early.
Is there anything else I can do to be a participant? I find RE really interesting. I like talking about it, reading books, etc
On my own, what I've come up is:
* Still go to networking events, even though I plan on having just one property
* Do the accounting and financial analysis really well
* Read books?
