How to take my Canadian REI business to SoCal
Hey guys!
I'm a full-time real estate investor from Montreal, Canada. I've been doing it full-time for 2 years now having completed over 20 transactions (house flips as well as multi-family investing) and I currently own 65 doors.
For a long time, I've had the objective to move my business, and my life, to South California along with my wife and baby girl. For the last 12 years, my wife refused to move to the USA since she wanted to stay close to her family and friends, but now she is open to the idea. She knows how important it is for me to reach my goal. Bingo!!!!
Therefore, would any of you be able to provide some guidance and advice on potential visas and/or green cards for Canadians real estate investors that would want to move to the USA on a full-time basis?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers,
G

I'm not sure how far along in this process you are yet but you might just want to take a working vacation to the area that you think you want to move to and see if the housing inventory is in a place where you can continue your business without too much trouble. Because you would hate to get down here and find out that the returns you could expect on flipping or with buy and hold would be half (just an example) what you're getting now.
