Charged both facilitation fee and commission for sale in Georgia

Hi BP,

This question might reveal what a newb I am.... but anyway.

I'm selling a place in Atlanta GA for $122k. The settlement statement includes:

- facilitation fee - $3,750

- commission to 1st agent - $1,250

- commission to 2nd agent - $3,675

Am I meant to be charged both facilitation fee and commissions? I thought the facilitation fee only applies if there is one agent 'facilitating' the whole transaction (ie, not representing the buyer or the seller).

Apologies if this is a stupid question and you all got keyword alerts for it. I wasn't able to find an answer elsewhere on the forums or online.

Thanks in advance.

Jeremy.
