Out of State BRRR from Hawaii
Living in a high priced market, I've accepted that I can't really buy/grow a portfolio at home. In addition, I have access to a line of credit at a good interest rate. I'm at a position in my life where I need/want income now, and am not necessarily looking to build a portfolio for the distant future, i.e. retirement. I want to BRRR, but simply cannot do it in my market. So I'd like to do it out of state, though know managing that whole process from the middle of the pacific could be challenging. I've found one company in Northwest Indiana, called Good Success (I think they go by Active Turnkey too), who offers this sort of turnkey BRRR. I haven't spoken with them, sort of vetting the process first. The market seems appealing due to its proximity to Chicago, being in Indiana (tax and landlord friendly), and Chicago happens to be one of the few places I have family on the mainland. I'm skeptical as to this working, but also feel it may be exactly what I need to jump in. I can't find much third party info online, so hoping to see what the BP community thought about this company, and model. Thanks!

Mark Baldwin as someone who bought about a dozen out of state rentals I don’t think the brrr is a viable thing to do remotely. It’s just too much trust to put into the CONtractor to preform. Even with third party inspections.
