Who calls pre-foreclosures & vacant home owners?

Hey BP family! I am wondering who has had success calling pre-foreclosures & vacant home owners? I have a list of 500+ and I am wondering what strategies have been working the best for you to convert these owners to sell their homes to you? Does anyone have a great script when you call these home owners that have worked great for you? Or have you found sending them postcards or a handwritten letter works best? I have been driving for dollars and taking an hour a day to drive around to check out these pre-foreclosures & vacant homes the last 2 weeks and then if they look like a good fix n flip or rental, then I will go home and write a hand written letter to them. I am wondering if I should continue doing this method or should I try something that is more effective?
