Septic Field- Neighbors on your property

Hi,

I'm looking at a property and was just notified by my realtor that the neighbors septic field resides in the back corner of the property I'm looking at. I did a quick google search and didnt find to much about a situation like this. I saw one post that said, in that specific state, if no action is taken within 10 years of the septic field being in place there is nothing you can do to force the neighbor to relocate(adverse possesion). Im not sure if that applies wher im located(IL), but is definately sounding alarms. I don't know what the neighbors are like, but I highly doubt they would willingly relocate it.

Are there any issues with the field being on the property other than not being able to build upon that area and possibly have people doing maintence every so often? What would the cost look like to relocate?

Thanks!
