Land for sale to build a house agent is a little scratchy
I found a piece of property to build a house on for me and my family 11 acres . Problem is it is listed as farm land and has never been evaluated or perked for a house . Agent has said her grandmother is the owner of the property and just wants to sell it is not interested seeing if it will perk or getting it evaluated . Agent said that they have had several offers . One they could not get financed , one backed out of the deal when they realized how much it was going to cost to build . The property is priced very cheep at $49,900 11 acres rolling hill open with some woods and a pond . My question is does this sound to good to be true , is the agent beating around the bush that the property will not perk . Said I could make an offer contingent of it perking but scared the property will not perk and it will be money wasted for my wife and I. Any advise would be appreciated.
