Best structure to start a Real Estate Investment Business

Hello all,

I want to start investing, but before I do I want to make sure I am doing this correctly from the start. Is it smart to start a Corp (LLC) and start making investments within the corporation? While my gut is saying this is smart, I think I may have issues with lending and titles under a corp name Vs. my personal name. Any advice on that is greatly appreciated.

2nd Question, does anyone have experience with a Self-directed IRA for investing in real - estate? I understand the lending issue with non recourse loans, but seems to be good to do cash deals and then get second mortgages. Any advice on that is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Jason
