New Investor ? - Cap rates, etc.
Hello everyone! I am newer to investing and currently just own a commercial property, which I have a business being run out of. I am looking to delve into owning and renting out multi-unit properties in the Cincinnati and Dayton Ohio areas.
My question is before I get started, do you guys have set metrics for cap rates, gross rental yield, etc. that you like to always meet before purchasing a property? What other metrics do you keep in mind to be sure it is a lucrative investment before purchasing? I feel like I should have a set number of things I want before investing and am trying to determine those numbers. Thanks in advance!
