NEED GUIDANCE AND INFO ON 1st Time Buying!

Hi all,

I am interested in buying my first home. I live in LA where everything is sky high, but because I make good money, I want to invest into property in a cheaper market, that is still in high demand. This discussion would basically start from scratch, so beware! Lol however, I am seeking advice from someone who is experienced, and more than anything, willing to help a young and ambition person like myself that lacks the knowledge in real estate. i guess my first question is, what type or real estate is best to invest Into at this current time??
