Getting Started with Investing

Hi Everyone, I am brand new to BP and investing. I am looking for some feedback from people on how they constructed their first real estate deal. I want to buy SFH's for rental purposes and transition into multi-unit and commercial properties. I am in the process of buying my first home for my family to live in. I do not have any other investments producing cash flow or any capital. But investing is what I want to do and I know there are avenues to get started. Any advice or shared knowledge on how I can get this ball rolling is much appreciated!
